Hey! I'm Tyler. Let's rewind to October of 2016. I'm sitting on my bed, writing a check to my landlord for $1,300. Yup, I was giving away a massive chunk of my paycheck to share a house in one of the most expensive areas in the country. Sound familiar?

Most of us shrug that off, take the loss, and move on. After-all, paying rent is part of life, right? Yes...BUT, with every check I wrote, I saw unlimited potential. I saw a path toward financial stability and time freedom. I saw a way to craft my life and focus on its most important priorities (family, friends, travel, growth).

So, I turned the tables on my renter/landlord relationship. I JUMPED IN, purchased My First Property, and went from writing checks to receiving checks :)
Here's the shocker...my property was 2,000+ miles away in Indianapolis, Indiana. I live in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Want to know the other shocker?

The property cash flowed for 11 straight months! Then it became unexpectedly vacant! Then I found a squatter in the garage! Then it required $16,000 in repairs. Then...well, you get it....crazy. Check out the whole story HERE.

Here's what $37,000 gets you in the Midwest

It's been quite the ride. But, there’s no such thing as losing. You either WIN or you LEARN.

My First Property was the greatest investing class I could have ever taken. And with every win, massive mistake, and valuable lesson learned, I purchased My Second Property for $86,000 and it rents for $995/month. I didn't stop there. I closed on My Third Property for $158,000 and it rents for $1,750/month. Next, I invested in My Fourth Property (an 80-unit in Louisville) with a group of partners. Then came My Fifth Property, which is a 164-unit apartment syndication in Phoenix. In October of 2020, I became a General Partner on a 94-unit apartment syndication as My Sixth Property. Most recently, I took a jump into the local market of San Jose, CA on a 12-unit as My Seventh Property.

Along the way...
